Mascot Juniors Rugby league Football Club (Mascot JRLFC) was founded in 1910 and is widely acknowledged as the oldest Junior Rugby League Club in New South Wales. We are currently one of the largest clubs in the South Sydney District.

Our club consistently fields teams in all grades from Under 5s to A Grade Men’s and Women’s with approximately 300 active players.  The club is proudly based and plays its home games at Mascot Oval in the heart of Mascot.

REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN FOR SEASON 2025 Established in 1910, Mascot will be celebrating its 115th year in season 2025. 🏈 Mini and Mod League We cater to mixed sides from Under 5s to 12s, with the Under 5s and 6s playing league tag in an inclusive and fun environment. The Under 7s will take part in the NRL Tackle Ready program before entering the tackle version of the game after the program is complete. Under 8s to 12s play modified versions of rugby league, playing tackle. 🏈 Girls/Women's Rugby League Subject to final confirmation from the junior league, an Under 8s, 10s, and 12s girls-only competition will be offered on Wednesday afternoons/evenings. We would be looking at fielding sides in all three age groups (please note that you can play in these girls-only sides even if you don’t play for Mascot on a Sunday, get in contact with us to arrange this). Our Under 14s and 16s girls-only teams will commence the girl’s academy training over the Christmas period and the new year. An update about that exciting program will be posted on our social media platforms shortly, including the dates and times. This is open to all current and new players (all girls turning 13, 14, 15, and 16 in 2025 are welcome). The highly successful Open Women's team will also be returning for another big season in 2025. 🏈 International Boys/Men's Teams Our senior sides from Under 13s to A/A Reserves will be back training at Mascot Oval officially in February (dates TBC). Please make sure you follow us for updates as we head towards the new season. Mascot Juniors RLFC are pleased to announce our appointed coaches for our International Female sides for season 2025. 🤝 Open Womens – Rangi Hiroti Rangi again takes the helm of our successful Open Womens side. Rangi has been a great coach of our club for many years and has dedicated the last 6 years to the Open Womens side. With his guidance and coaching, the girls won the clubs maiden Open Womens premiership this season. 🤝 Under 16s Girls (Turning 15 and 16 in 2025) – Nita Maynard Nita needs no introduction having recently retired from the NRWL after a long and decorated career. Nita is back for a second year after coaching our Under 14 Girls to the Sydney Combined Division 1 Gold Premiership, after starting the season in Division 2 (the clubs first girls’ premiership). Nita is a great student of the game and is committed to the development of her players as many of the girls look to transition into junior pathways programmes at NRL clubs. Nita’s retirement from playing will be Mascot’s gain, as she will oversee some of the key areas of our girl’s rugby league programme, alongside all the coaches. 🤝 Under 14 Girls (turning 13 and 14 in 2025)– Tom Perrin Tom Perrin is one of our club’s best development coaches, with a key emphasise on the fundamentals of the game. He has played the game at many senior levels and has recently spent time assisting both the Cronulla Sharks Harold Matthews and Rabbitohs 16s Development squads, as well as coaching some of our boys’ international teams to success. Congratulations to Rangi, Nita and Tom!
